About

A small studio for wide places.

Why “Photobank”?

A bank keeps things safe and lets them grow in value. That is how we think about landscape photographs: carefully made, carefully kept, and meant to matter more with time.

Photobank Studio is a small team of photographers, a print specialist and a workshop coordinator. We share a slow way of working — fewer locations, more return visits, and a strict edit. What reaches the portfolio is a fraction of what we shoot, and that is the point.

Alongside our own work we look after other people’s photographs, too. Our private client archive grew out of workshop students asking where to keep their best images safely and share them with the people who matter.

How we work

Principles we keep

  • Patience over mileage. We return to a place until the conditions are right.
  • Leave no trace. We stay on paths, respect closures and never disturb wildlife for a frame.
  • Honest craft. Careful colour and tonal work; we don’t sell a place as something it isn’t.
  • Print as the finish line. Every image is edited with a physical print in mind.

The team

Photographers, printer, planner

Our photographers lead workshops and commissions; our print specialist proofs and signs off every edition before it leaves the studio; and our coordinator handles logistics, so that in the field all you need to think about is light.
